The Inhuman Race

Good morning folks. Another day in the life of... well everyone and thing that is alive I guess. You know what really bothers me? I am a person who watches more T.V. now in my life then any other period. Have you noticed how many advertisements for drugs are being pushed on us? Celebrex. Stops the pain of arthritis fast. May cause stomach ulcers. Heart arhythmia. Talk to your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems as Celebrex can cause these to worsen. Contact your doctor is you feel any intense sexual urges or the need to gamble or any other such overwhelming feelings. If you are taking heart medication like nitro glycerine do not take Celebrex. In rare instances it has been known to cause death. But NSAID's are approved by the FDA. The FDA has said that in many cases the benefits of Celebrex far outweight the risks. Like seriously. Have you guys heard this shit? I really have a hard time believing the FDA is nothing but in the pocket book of the pharmaceutical companies.

There are tons of them too. They have picked up more and more all the time. Even in just the last year. They are rivaling car commercials. I used to complain about and hate car commercials. But give me those any day over what we are pushing on people to take. People are making a very pretty pain killing your bain but destroying your body that you will need more of their drugs to fix. What makes me neervous is that it is not profitable to heal people. It is profitable to make one thing go away and have ten others pop up. That is how you make mad cash in the pharmaceutical industry. If they found a cure for cancer I honestly feel that it would never be released to the public. People on all their medications for the years before they die everyday is loads and loads of cash. I think the pharmaceutical companies are only rivalled by arms companies and oil companies by how much profit is turned each year. Some things should just not work in the capitalistic way that they do. Leaves them far to open for corruption to get in. So I have to work 21 days straight after all.

My co-workers really old mother was found in her apartment not taking her medication nor eating. SO he has to take care of her until he finds a place in a home for her. So that means my days off I had is gone because I took his shift on that day. And all the days I was already working are doubles. But I wanted a fat paycheck before Summerfolk. This will do that for sure. I don't think I have ever in my life worked three weeks straight. But I am up for it. It will pass the time quickly between now and then. I find when I am idle time drags by too slowly. I like things to move at a fairly quick pace. I got new pants yesterday and I don't think I have ever gotten a deal like this before. They were regularily $108. I got them for $32. I hemmed them last night. They were a perfect fit except for being a bit too long. They are beige corduroys. I love corduroys. I don't own nearly enough pairs for that matter. I used to wear quite a few pairs. I used to have the nicest brown ones. But alas. Everything falls apart sooner or later. Thank goodness in my case it is usually later.

I got another black pair of pants too. Because I wear the fuck out of my work clothes due to the fact that I am always working. They last quite a while considering the mileage I put on them. Does anyone know of anything that you can buy that would be kind of like a black dye you could put in the wash with your black clothes to reinstate that nice black sheen that you bought them at? I hate the look of faded black clothing a lot. Yet it is a work colour and I have to wear those clothes a lot and wash them a lot. I even turn them inside out when I wash them to keep them looking better longer. But that only lasts so long. So who besides me and the whole world is excited to see The Simpsons Movie this weekend? Oh yes... the whole world. I am going to see it with Jimmy boy between work. I work a double on Saturday. But I am going to go down to the city after and see it. Hopefully it isn't sold out. Which is why I am going to tell Jimmy to go try and get tickets on friday so we for sure get in.

Because I don't want to exhaust myself travelling all the fuck the way down there when I have to get up at the crack of dawn to get back here to work the next day. So I want him to definately get the tickets ahead of time. This movie is going to make mad sales. Even if it is a piece of shit. I know I am paying to see it. So even if it ens up being crap it already made its money off of me. Even if anyone told me it was bad I would go see it. I think that is the same with pretty much everyone else. Which is why it will make mad cash. Everyone is going to see it no matter what. I will review it here after I see it. I generally don't review movies on here. But this isn't just any movie. This is the movie a billion people have been waiting for for years. It has a lot of hype to live up too. Which could be its downfall. But I think I will love seeing it on the big screen. Anyone who lives in the area or will be in the area on Saturday should come see it with us. You know you want too. I think I want to be drunk for it. Seems like the movie to go see drunk. Well going to the theatre is an activity done best drunk period I think.

My kitty sais "hi" to everyone by the way. She is such a darling. I spend more time with her then I do my friends. So I am glad she is cool and has the same tastes in music as me. She even lets me watch whatever I want on T.V. and doesn't protest. She doesn't even like onions. Just like me. We have so much in common. Besides being a different species. But we connect on so many other levels it doesn't matter. Well folks. This has been another edition of me just typing and it happening to come out in somewhat coherent sentences.
