My cat forgives me quicker then any pet I have ever had. She is always lying on the top of the couch when I am sitting there watching T.V. Sometimes I will stretch and accidently smoke her in the face or knock her off the back of the couch. She will usually let out her cat-like yelp and jump. But all I have to do is tell her "I am sorry" once and kiss her and she starts purring and lies back down right away. I think human relationships would work better if we emulated that.
